Hey, I am currently reading a book dealing with cosmology by Mukhanov. Within this, I am confronted with the following differential equation (DE) for the scale factor a:


where is a constant.

Has anybody an idea how to solve this DE?

Idea: Mukhanov says that this DE can be solved by integration ...

Yes. But it is not very helpful to do this.

with a constant . Now follows



This differential equation ist solved by separation of variables.
