Meine Frage:
Consider the single-electron tunneling transistor. Assume the case of zero temperature. Find the appropriate range for the source-drain voltage V and the gate voltage Vg so that:
1. starting with n = 1 electrons on the island, tunneling from the source to the island is allowed and tunneling from the island to the drain is forbidden, and
2. starting with n = 2 electrons on the island, tunneling from the source to the island is forbidden and tunneling from the island to the drain is allowed.
